Which license do I need?

License Covers Price
Individual One educator $29
Single Location One school, library branch, museum, community centre or nonprofit $99
Up to 5 Locations Up to five locations within the same organization $249
Larger organization Districts, library systems, or organization-wide use By quote

Launch prices are the Founding Educator Price and rise after the first cohort. For a district, library system, or organization-wide license, email hello@origami.me and we will quote it.

How it works

  1. Choose your license above.
  2. Get your access link. Enter the email you checked out with and a one-time link arrives. There is no password to remember, and you can ask for a fresh link any time.
  3. Print and teach. Filter the library, download the sheets you need in A4 or Letter, and fold.

The license, in plain words

Your license lets you:

  • Print and use the sheets as often as you like, with your own students or groups, whether that is in a classroom, library, museum, holiday club, workshop, or at home.
  • Keep using them for as long as you like. There is no need to ask permission each time you run an activity.
  • Use the materials with the people you teach, but not pass the digital files on to colleagues, resell them, or redistribute them.

Every model in the library is either traditional or included with the written permission of its designer. A share of what you pay goes back to the artists whose work you are using.

Questions

I bought the Library and lost the email. What should I do?
Enter the email address you used at checkout on the Educator Library page, and we will send you a fresh link. There is no password to remember.

Can I use the PDFs on my school's learning platform?
You can print and hand out the sheets as often as you need for your own students or groups. Please do not upload the digital files anywhere other people can download or share them.

Do I need to know origami already?
Not necessarily, but it helps to fold a model yourself before teaching it to a group. Every model links back to the full Origami.me tutorial, with step-by-step photos and video to help you prepare.

What paper do I need?
Most models use a square sheet of origami paper, but you do not need anything fancy to get started. If a model needs a different shape, the cutting instructions are included in the PDF. You will also find paper preparation guides in the Origami Basics section.

Can I use these for a paid workshop?
The individual license is for non-commercial educational and group use. If you are running paid workshops or using the materials commercially, please contact us at hello@origami.me so we can find the right license.

By purchasing you agree to the Educator Library Terms of Use.
